We have all been avoiding the issue of the server's inactivity for the past few months never wanting to think if the next month would really be the last. Though today, the rarely spoken topic of server closure is an unfortunate subject we have to address.

For a long while now our server's population has been minimal to non-existent. The "people must be too busy this time of year" excuse has tided our minds over far too many times and for far too long. While there have been multiple community attempts at revitalizing activity, no long lasting results have ever occurred.

Nearly 3 years ago, we formed a group who got along incredibly well and whose talents worked together with one another, along with serious commitment, to produce something amazing. With great sadness we officially announce that Team LA's WCS/ZM server will cease operations beginning May 1st, 2010.

Though the server may be shutting down, we would hate for all the connections and friendships made on our server to fade away or fall apart. Our website and community forums will continue to operate with hopes that activity will remain and hopefully increase with time. With the help and input of our members, we hope to explore possibilities of venturing off into new exciting endeavors in the future.

We can't thank you enough for the all the support you have provided that made this chapter of Team LA a memorable, wonderful, and huge success. We hope you stick around to be a part of our next big adventure.

please don't shut down la, its probly the best and most fun wcs server that i have ever played, i do viset it alot but i usually don't see anyone on, mabye if just a few people start playing again now that its back to normal the server will come back to life. ive been wanting to do some donations myself if money is an issue, i will get back to you about that as soon as i get some cash on me.

Well if you dont mind me asking. How much was the server a month or what ever? Because I will be getting a job pretty soon here and if its within a reasonable ammount i would gladly pay to reopen it for the months of june-august. I really think that this was one of the best and most challenging WCS/Zombie Servers i have ever played.

we did it cut costs in half from 40 a month to 20, however why waste money on a server no one plays on flare.

Well honestly... I would have played on the server if i had the time to. I mean i am still in high school. I have lots of homework and get grounded for no reason... But i am going to get a job pretty soon and i wouldnt mind paying $20 USD a month to play on a server that i really love.

The problem with the server is that it was always the same regulars playing. And when no one was on the server, no one would come. If we started every new player off with 1 race that they wanted (under level 300) then they would come on to play that race and level up... Therefor they would want to see what all of the other races were like.

On a different note I saw a class on this other WCS server... The class is called Son Goku. They had a + damage skill. Along with a skill that they would use !ability to use. That skill made it so they could fire their gun really fast with perfect accuracy. I could empty a pair of elites in .5 seconds with that ability. But the ability only lasts 10 seconds. Still it would have made a great addition to the server.

Once i get a job i will buy a server with vent at a cap of 20$ a month. No matter what. And i love this server so maybe if i pay that $20 a month then maybe i get admin? and a private race?

Summary: I am going to buy a server in the near future with WCS and would like to add stuff that wasnt on this server.

Its sad to see such a great thing come to an end. I wont deny that the server has been losing popularity, but i guess all good things have to come to an end. As sad as it is, this was by FAR the greatest online community I have ever been part of, although it has been a while. Obviously its not like losing my community in real life, but i know i got to meet a lot of cool people, and had TONS of fun. I hope the forums can still be somewhat active so everyone can talk every once in a while.

well i never thought id see the day when the Famous [LA] wcs/zombie server would come to an end. i had alot of fun playing here (even thoughts its been a year or so since i was permabanned) but when i was playing there was always atleast 10-15 players online. but after i was banned i noticed that the player count kinda lowered over the months and then pretty much twindled into nothing. im not saying it was because of my departure, because it wasnt. the player count started to go down after the opening of the |JnS|wcs|zombie server and thats when all the shit started with players going to jns and then going back to la to start shit(which those fucktards never should have done) and for that i say im sorry. and if you havent figured out who this is by now you all know me as 1badmuthafuka. ever since my permaban and the closing of the jns server i havent played css more than maybe an hour or so a month. but i will say this if there was a way to go back and change things i would go back and tell redseal no to his offer of opening up "our own" wcs server.

Yeah but counter didnt act like a 5 year old bitch after getting himself banned permanently from the server. Actually, he managed to follow the rules pretty well after a few learning experiences.
